The expressive building with a still visible sphere on the roof, which bears the powerful name ATLAS, presents itself imposingly in Munich’s Werksviertel. We designed three large exterior facades and developed an interior depiction of the Titan “Atlas” spread over 15 floors, from its conception to its ascent to Mount Olympus, in order to bring it to life as a mythological figure.
The basis of our creative work was the extensive research and the direct examination of Greek mythology. With the help of a reduced color selection, modern tape art, spray paint and the use of a wide variety of foils, we developed a puristic design based directly on Greek busts.
