“The more people see it, the more beautiful it is. And where do more people see it than in public space on the street?” Bodo Höbing
This installation of adhesive tape can be seen on the grounds of the historically famous Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM) in Berlin. The chimney of the manufactory was covered in the “Bandenmuster” and thus the centerpiece of traditional porcelain craftsmanship was permanently transformed into a piece of modern art. The idea was to dissolve the spatial dimensions of the chimney and create a surreal object.
